This Privacy Policy explains how Dream Loft ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Dream Loft mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Dream Loft is an offline-first app. All dream journal entries — including titles, content, mood, tags, vividness, and session type — are stored exclusively on your device using local device storage. We do not have access to your journal entries.
The following data never leaves your device:
When you request an AI dream analysis, the text of that dream entry is transmitted to our AI processing service (Supabase Edge Functions, hosted on infrastructure operated by Supabase, Inc.). This text is used solely to generate your analysis and is not stored, logged, or retained by us after the response is returned.
Dream content sent for analysis is not linked to any personal identifier. We do not collect your name, email address, or device identifier in connection with AI analysis requests.
Dream Loft offers an optional premium subscription ("Dream Loft Pro") processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment information is handled directly by Apple and RevenueCat, Inc., our subscription management provider. We do not collect or store your payment details.
RevenueCat may collect anonymized subscription analytics (e.g., trial conversions, churn). For details, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
Dream Loft does not use any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking frameworks. We do not sell your data to any third party.
If you enable morning reminders, Dream Loft schedules local notifications on your device. This is handled entirely on-device using iOS's local notification system. No data is transmitted to our servers in connection with notifications.
Dream Loft is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Because your dream data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's own security features (passcode, Face ID, etc.). We recommend keeping your device locked and your operating system up to date.
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no account to delete and no profile to request. All your journal data can be permanently deleted by using "Clear All Data" in the app's Settings, or by deleting the app from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
